Experience the renaissance of Cumberland with us.  Just two blocks from Downtown Cumberland, Decatur Street is filled with the energy of transformation.  Our Inn is casual and comfortable.  The rooms are large and spacious.  Our bathtubs are ideal for soaking after your busy day.  Our beds are Serta® pillow-tops; a guarantee for the best night’s sleep.

We prepare a full, private breakfast to order.  You choose the time; whether it’s 6:00 AM or 10:30 AM…we will accommodate.  Some favorites on the menu include Challah French Toast, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon and Ham biscuits (recipe compliments of Town Hill B&B), baked apples & blueberry crisps, bread pudding, fresh fruit, the list goes on.  Savor the flavor of our Alaskan coffee, Deadman’s Reach, bold and smooth…a great eye-opener.  We serve Community Tee, shipped directly from New Orleans.  We are happy to accommodate your special dietary requests.
As a local tour guide, owning both Mountain Getaway Tours and Mountainside Bike Tours (www.mountainsidebiketours.net), I can provide for you as much information (or as little) about our town’s history, economics and hopes for the future.  We can package your visit whether it’s biking (rentals available), hiking, golf, history, theatre, special events/festivals, a ride on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, the arts or just relaxing; you can trust our suggestions.  I am more than happy to provide a complimentary walking/driving tour of our historic city…just ask.

TESTIMONIALS

Gail,

Thank you for a great respite in Cumberland.  We loved your beautiful b & b and would recommend it highly.  Tastefully decorated, clean, home-like conveniences and amenities, within walking distance of downtown, quiet (especially at night).  I can't believe we didn't think to get a picture of it with you and Steve.  Cumberland and staying at your place were a definitive highlight of our trip.  Thanks for all you did to make our stay comfortable and luxurious!

Hi Gail,

Arrived safely back in California after a wonderful tour along the C&O Tow Path and GAP. Although we had lotsa rain, we enjoyed the tour and the hospitality of B&B's like yours. Thanks for making our stay in Cumberland a memorable one.

Gail,
We had a lovely stay at the B&B.  Thank you!  It was a pleasure meeting and talking to you over breakfast.  We had a great bike ride up the mountain and coasted down!  Take Care.

Hi Gail,
Kate and I want you to know how much we appreciated your hospitality.  Wonderful breakfasts, lunches and ride up the hill.  We've been telling all our biking/history buff friends about the great biking and charms of the "Queen City".  Thanks again.

Dear Gail,
Thank you for making my stay at your B&B so delightful.  The Internet does no justice to "my room".  The room materials create a relaxing atmosphere. Your sightseeing suggestions proved to be excellent choices.  Thank you for making my trip to Cumberland so memorable.  Your attention to detail will continue to make you outstanding in the hospitality/tourism field.  I wish you continued success.  Thank you again for a special time.

Dear Gail,
Thank you for the pleasant stay at your Inn.  The early breakfast was excellent and provided me the fuel needed for the 23 mile climb through the cold rain.  Hope to stay with you again.
